DESCRIPTION

Facilitated by Diane Campeau, this first meeting propose an intergenerational conversation with First Nations people of British Columbia.

This event will allow you to learn more about the journey of Elder Eddy Charlie, member of Cowichan First Nation, residential school survivor and co-founder of the Orange Shirt Day Society as well as two members of Da'naxda'x̱w First Nation: Sandra Glendale and her son Sasha Kasalas-Perron, the latter representing the new generation.

The moderator will be Diane Campeau Professor of Aboriginal Education at the University of University of Ottawa and the University of Alberta, Campus St-Jean
